We have provided professional search services, staffing, and business solutions to many in the Allentown and Lehigh Valley areas.
About Hugh
Hugh Gallagher is an Allentown, PA native who graduated from Central Catholic HS as a member of the National Honor Society, Varsity letterwinner in 3 sports, and serving as their school's Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Hugh holds a Bachelor's Degree in Management from Gettysburg College.
After working in the insurance field for 6 years after college, he switched to the recruiting industry in 1995. He started with a boutique firm on Philadelphia's Main Line. Hugh's early recruiting career was focused on the insurance industry on both the carrier side and the agent/broker side. From there, he helped lead and develop the staff of a start-up recruiting firm in the Lehigh Valley. He helped them build from the ground up from their first employee to a firm doing over $10 million a year in sales. Hugh's focus was primarily in the sales arena where he, as a third-party recruiter, managed and steered the national sales expansion of a division of a Fortune 50 client. In that engagement, he placed hundreds of individuals nationwide in a multibillion-dollar sales organization, successfully placing candidates in all 50 states and several Canadian territories as well.
Founding of The Gallagher Search Group
Prior to founding The Gallagher Search Group in 2014, Hugh diversified his focus and leveraged his vast contact base-expanding to handling Accounting, Information Technology, Supply Chain/Purchasing, Human Resources, Manufacturing Management and Customer Services roles as well. The experience in these roles coupled with his prior experience in insurance and sales allowed for an immediate and robust launch to The Gallagher Search Group.
In 2017, Hugh again diversified his product offering to include consulting focused strictly on the recruiting function and business development initiatives therein. This consultation piece has been modified and replicated in various settings since that time. Hugh has received numerous awards and has been featured in dozens of articles and podcasts.
Hugh and Christine have a blended family of seven children (and two grandchildren). They are very active in the Allentown/Lehigh Valley Community. Among the many organizations they serve and support have been The Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, KidsPeace, The Pediatric Cancer Society of the Lehigh Valley, Beachview Dreams, The Allentown St. Patrick's Day Parade, and the Mercy School for Special Learning.

Christine Gallagher
A proud Philadelphia native and graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School, Christine Gallagher also completed coursework at Cedar Crest College in pursuit of a degree in Business Administration. Christine brings a unique blend of sales expertise, sales support, business development, and technical acumen, making her an invaluable asset to both our team and our clients.
Her versatile background paved the way for her transition into the recruiting world, where she seamlessly applies her strengths to match top talent with the right opportunities — a true win for both candidates and employers alike.
As a natural connector and people-first professional, Christine’s energy, enthusiasm, and unwavering commitment to creating successful partnerships have played a pivotal role in The Gallagher Search Group’s growth and reputation. Her dedication to win-win outcomes helps us continually elevate our service offerings and deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Christine was instrumental in the founding of The Gallagher Search Group, and her contributions have only expanded and evolved with the organization’s success. Referral Program
We want to know who you know - and we are willing to pay for it! The Gallagher Search Group, Inc. will pay a referral fee to anyone who refers a candidate on a search we are conducting who we in turn place with our client. Upon successful hire, payment, and completion of our guarantee period, we will pay $500 to anyone who had first referred that hired candidate. In addition, we extend the same referral offer to anyone who introduces us to a company that is not a client that we subsequently make a placement with. Reach out with a referral today!
